The process of ordering a commission is easier than you may have initially thought. Whether this is your first piece of art and you need direction to bring your ideas to life or you may have a clear vision of what you’re after, I am here for every step working closely with you for a personal experience. Where to start…

The dimensions and location of your piece is the first step. Do you want a large statement piece that draws attention, or a couple of smaller pieces to compliment the room. Once the size is decided, you choose the colour palette and vibe.

Whether you’re looking to inject some colour into a room or harmonise with existing shades, I’ll work towards incorporating exactly what you want. Don’t worry if you have no idea what direction to go in. Pictures of the surroundings where your piece will hang are welcomed to narrow down the perfect complimenting colours and aesthetic.

I talk a lot about how my work makes me feel and this is important in your own commissioned piece too. The next step is looking at the mood and the vibe. Do you want a lot of energy portrayed, or something that makes you feel calm? Is there a particular picture or memory, or something you’ve heard or seen that becomes the origin story of your painting.

How it’s finished…

I will update you every couple of layers and you can guide me if you want more or less of something. Once you’re happy with the finished painting, it is varnished, signed and framed. All frames are bespoke made and can come in black, white or a natural light wood.
